Dominic teams up with world renowned cellist Alexander Baillie to record Myaskovsky’s impassioned Sonata for Piano and Cello. Here they play the second movement.

Cemented

 
 

An extract from Dominic’s cantata for children choir. Words by Jamie Chetwood, aged 11.  Bricklayers working for the local council build a wall. As years go by, the wall sings of the drudgery of its existence. Trapped in a prison of graffiti and cemented to the spot, it notices that even the jeering plastic bags have more freedom.

After much soul-searching, each brick accepts that it is part of a bigger whole, and that their common purpose is to keep their ‘society' from crumbling...
